Welcome to OddBotLab! A home for my robotics, engineering, and technical projects.
I created this site as a place to collect my work, document what I’m learning, and share the process behind the things I build. This will include project write-ups, code, tutorials, post-mortems, CAD files, videos, experiments, notes, and whatever else comes out of the workshop along the way.
OddBotLab is part portfolio, part lab notebook, and part accountability system. My goal is to build a visible record of what I’m capable of and the full engineering process behind what i do including the design choices, tradeoffs, failures, revisions, and lessons learned.
My interests sit somewhere between robotics, mechatronics, embedded systems, automation, IoT, mechanical design, and general tinkering. I like building things that move, sense, react, communicate, or solve practical problems in interesting ways.
This site is where I’ll be documenting that growth.
Right now, OddBotLab is starting small: one project at a time. Over time, I want it to become a serious portfolio of technical work that shows not only what I’ve made, but how I think, how I solve problems, and where I’m headed as an engineer and builder.
Dream Job: robotics and mechatronics for space! Either in our own galaxy, or in a galaxy far far away.
Thanks for stopping by.
There will be bots.
